Security at the core of everything

We built a service for calls and messaging that meets global security standards, and created tools that let users manage their own safety.

Built-in security measures let you communicate with friends and family, without worrying about risks.

Privacy by default

No one can find your phone number, and secret chats are end-to-end encrypted so only you and your recipient can read them.

Automatic spam detection

We detect and remove most fraudulent and spam accounts before they can message you or anyone reports them.

Security system alerts

We ask you to verify your identity as soon as we detect any suspicious or unauthorized attempts to access your account.

Everything under your control

Follow these simple steps to set up multiple layers of protection and prevent hackers and scammers from stealing your data and account.

Enable two-step verification

Set up a secret PIN and never share it with anyone to protect against account theft.

We anticipate new risks and adapt to them, while providing tools that help you protect yourself.

Report unwanted behavior

Your reports about messages, people, and companies help us keep iman safe for everyone. Don't worry — the person you report won't know about it.

Block unwanted contacts

If someone you don't want to communicate with messages or calls you, simply block them, and we'll make sure you no longer receive messages or calls from them.

Recover your account

If you've lost access to your account, re-register with your previous phone number. Chats in your cloud account are available again after you sign in; secret chats stay only on the devices where they were created.

Audit status and responsible disclosure

No independent security audit has been published yet and there is no paid bug bounty. The messenger has had internal review only. The whitepaper states exactly what is and is not end-to-end encrypted (only secret chats are) and lists the known limits.

Found a vulnerability? Write to the security contact below; the machine-readable contact is in /.well-known/security.txt. Please do not access other people's data or disclose the issue publicly before we have responded.
